PROVIDING AN ALTERNATIVE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN IN AND AROUND MOULTON

The idea of Picnics after school club came about following a successful career of childminding. During the week caring for small children in the daytime and also taking and collecting children from school. Every week new enquiries would come in from parents wanting before and after school care.

Eventually with so many enquiries and not enough providers to cope with the demand the decision to create a new before and after school club was made. Helping working parents continue their careers knowing their children are safe and cared for, and also providing the school with an alternative to their own already successful after school club when it is full, is our aim.

Our premises are located at Fernie Fields Scout and community Centre. Enabling parents to drop and collect their children without going into the centre of Moulton. We offer a free minibus service to  and from school in the morning and afternoon ensuring children are safely away from roads. We have a great secure facility available with plenty of space for the children to play inside and also access to a lovely enclosed  sensory garden and pavilion, with large open grassed areas for children to play on.

The club has a programme of events that change regularly and take into account the yearly calendar. The children have some control as to what games or activities they would like do at the club but we have some set ideas to give them a helping hand.
