Picnics After School Childcare (Club)

AFTER-SCHOOL CHILDCARE CLUB SERVING MOULTON PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN (AGED 4-12) & THEIR PARENTS

ENRICHING AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Our after school club day begins from the school at 3.20 when the smaller children come out. The picnics staff will wait at our designated meeting point within the school grounds for all the registered children. Once key stage one and two are collected and checked against our daily register we will go back to picnics to start our daily activities. On arrival the children will be signed into the setting. They will all be offered a snack and a drink before any activities commence.

Snacks can include, fruit, flapjacks, carrot sticks, raisins and drinks amongst other ones we choose. Always nutritious and healthy! The staff at picnics set up the daily activities before the children arrive and so they can get down to some serious fun and games when they are ready to. Some of the activities will be led by a member of staff, but others, the children may choose to do with their friends, or on their own.

HOMEWORK, FUN, GAMES & A PICNIC BASKET FULL OF NUTRITIOUS FOOD

The choices are vast so it’s down to them! There will also be a homework corner for children who want to do their homework before going home and the staff will be on hand to help any children needing support. Children that stay after 5pm will be given their very own picnic basket full of nutritious food.

They will all sit together at the table and when we have finished the children can help us to tidy away and begin preparations for home time and parent’s arrival, when each child will be signed out by a parent or carer. Our day at picnics ends at 6pm.
